Watch this. You may think we don’t have much traffic on our country roads, but think again. WPFD covers a territory larger than the city Little Rock, Arkansas. Sure, our population isn’t as dense but WPFD still works to respond quick to our 160 square mile service area with only 4 fire stations. By comparison, the city of Little Rock, Arkansas encompasses about 122 square miles and is served by 20 fire stations. We all have the same job to do, save lives and protect property. No matter where you are when traveling please help emergency responders help others in need quickly. Please pull to the right for sirens and lights. Ground Breaking Ceremony for New WPFD Station #5
Today was a milestone moment for what will be our new Station #5 located at Pinnacle Valley and Beck Roads in Little Rock. This moment took 5 years to come to fruition. We look forward to this new WPFD station and improvements to our services to this northeast area of our fire district east of Pinnacle Mountain and near Maumelle Park.

WPFD would like to announce that WPFD Training Capt. Scott Joblin has been promoted to Department Fire Chief effective 1/01/2019. We welcome Chief Joblin to the senior fire officer role.

I am excited about the opportunities lying before the West Pulaski Fire Department in 2019. Outgoing Chief Ronnie Wheeler and the members of the Board of Directors have positioned the Department to succeed.
Join me in thanking Chief Wheeler, now retired, for his tireless work and effort as he led the Department for the past 14+ years. We were blessed to have his leadership and are grateful for his continued support in the operation of the Department.
As the incoming Fire Chief, I will support the forward movement of the West Pulaski Fire Department. As a Department, we will meet the challenges presented to us and provide the service the citizens in our community expect and deserve.
