Please join us on Saturday, nurse August 29, search 2015 from 9:15am – 11:00am for our 2nd Annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser to benefit the up keep of the West Pulaski Fire Dept and Lake Maumelle Fire Department Rescue River Boats.
This event will be held at the Little Rack Yacht Club Marina on the B dock.
The cost will be by the donation of your choice.

Smart911- Are you in yet?
Recent numbers most Arkansas 911 centers are able to use Smart911, unfortunately, small fraction of Arkansas residences have signed up for the service. We need your help to increase these numbers for this free service that can help emergency services help those in need. Please share with your family, friends, and neighbors that haven’t signed up yet. Remembering the Tornado of 4/27/2014
It has been one year since a devastating storm brought a tornado to our fire district. WPFD responded to the destruction and injured in four major impact areas between the Saline/Pulaski County line near Brush Mountain Trail and Arkansas Highway 10. This storm changed the lives of many, including our fire department folks, discount in the way we think about a major storm response and how we prepare for it, for sale while hoping we never have something so tragic in our service area again.
On this day, one year later, we want to remember those that were lost, emergency responders and neighbors that helped, many that are still recovering in some way, and those that helped in the many days afterward to cleanup and rebuild. It was tough to see such a tragic day but in the clearing we saw so many positive things in strength and resilience of a community, the abundant kindness of strangers, and a tremendous hope for recovery. Arkansas House Resolution (HCR1007) Recognizes WPFD and others for 4/27/2014 Tornado Response & Recovery
Today was a big day for West Pulaski Fire Department and several other organizations that responded to the April 27, 2014 tornado. State Representative Andy Davis sponsored a house resolution to recognize Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Lake Maumelle Fire Dept, West Pulaski Fire Dept, Pulaski County Sheriff’s Dept, Arkansas Forestry, Southwest Energy, and Desoto Gathering for our response to the incident and the recovery effort provided by the community.

Attention Station #5!
WPFD is nearing operations for our new fire station located at the corner of Pinnacle Valley and Beck Roads. So much work and fundraising has made this new station possible. We truly look forward to this new addition to our WPFD family. Here are some pictures of the progress made over the past few months of construction that will help us better serve this northeast corner of our fire district for many years to come.
We hope to make an announcement soon about our plans for our grand opening!
